One year compulsory rotatory internship training at Govt. Medical College, Rajindra Hospital, Patiala w.e.f. 29th Feb, 1992 to 28th Feb, 1993.
Worked as Junior Resident in Department of Medicine, Govt. Medical College, Rajindra Hospital, Patiala w.e.f. Aug 1993 to Aug 1996.

- Worked as a senior resident in various hospitals in Delhi:
- Batra Hospital, New Delhi — Department of Cardiology for approximately 5 months; worked in ICCU.
